Chelsea Group Mozambique was founded in 2015 with local partner Chinguane Sebastião Marcos Mabote, the son of the late Lt. General Sebastião Mabote, one of the Senior Commander and a National Hero of the Republic of Mozambique, who participated at Liberation war for Independence
Chelsea Group Mozambique builds on the 15 years’ Operations Excellence experience of the Chelsea Group worldwide and its primary business stems from the group’s core focuses, expanding horizontally across the non-traditional focus areas of the group. Current projects include developing affordable housing projects for veterans, commercial property developments, port management and fisheries protection, mining, agriculture as well as tourism projects.
Chelsea Group Mozambique in all of it is business projects values Social Corporate Responsibility, through integrating the concept of investment for social impact, through the maximization of outsourcing to local community entrepreneurs and local economic linkages. Thus, ensuring the sharing of benefit with the communities, throughout the whole investment cycle.
