The Bank of Mozambique (BM) was created in 1975 by Decree No. 2/75 of May 17, within the framework of the commitments assumed in the Lusaka Accords in 1974, having inherited the assets and values of the Department of Mozambique, the National Bank Ultramarino. The Strategic Vision is to consolidate itself as an institution of excellence that contributes to the country’s macroeconomic stability.
