Mozambique: Trafigura pledges to help restore forests
Weather alert: Rain, thunder and wind for Maputo, Gaza and Manica – INAM

The National Institute of Meteorology (INAM) predicts moderate to strong rains, accompanied by severe thunderstorms and moderate to strong winds from today.
Bad weather may occur in
- Maputo province, districts of Matutuine, Boane, Namaacha, Marracuene, Manhiça, Moamba, Magude and Matola and Maputo cities;
- Gaza province, districts of Bilene, Chókwe, Massingir, Mandlakazi, Chibuto , Guijá and Xai-Xai;
- Manica province, districts of Mossurize, Sussundenga, Manica, Báruè and Gondola and Chimoio Cities.
The provinces of Sofala and Inhambane may be affected by the same meteorological system, with rains and thunderstorms.
INAM calls for precautionary and safety measures in view of the risk associated with urban and sudden floods, atmospheric discharges and winds.
