Doctors at Mozambique's largest hospital give the government 30 days to avert strike

President Filipe Nyusi will open the Innovation Africa Conference 2017 in Maputo today, according to a statement from the Presidency of the Republic cited by Radio Moçambique.
Innovation Africa is an African forum for education, innovation and technology in which ministers of education and technology are involved.
The event, the seventh in a series, which runs until Wednesday, is co-organised by the Government of Mozambique and brings together delegates and invited guests from more than 40 African countries, including members of governments, representatives of United Nations agencies and the private sector. According to its official website “Innovation Africa 2017 is firmly established as the continent’s number one high level ministerial forum where industry partners enjoy pre-scheduled meetings and committed engagement with ministers and senior government officials from over 40 countries. It is Africa’s “must participate” event for education, innovation & ICT.”
During the conference, the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organisation (UNESCO) will launch the Global Education Monitoring Report 2017.
