Deputy General Commander of the Mozambican police José Weng San dies in South Africa

Deputy General Commander of the Mozambican police José Weng San died in South Africa on Friday.
Weng San, who had been appointed Deputy General Commander in August 2015, served for more than 30 years in the police ranks. He commanded the corporation in the provinces of Manica, Zambezia, and Nampula.
He was also commander of the then Rapid Intervention Force (FIR) and of the Border Police.
He died of an illness.
