Mozambique: Revimo promises to resume collection of tolls - AIM
The Mozambican unit of currency, the metical, has remained broadly unchanged against the dollar and the Euro in the last week, with an average appreciation of less than 10 cents.
In average terms, last week, the Euro was bought in the country at 72.64 meticais, 3 metical cents less than the average of the previous week.
In turn, sale was made at 74.02 meticais, five metical cents lower, according to weekly averages calculated by Lusa from Bank of Mozambique data.
The average purchase price of the Euro last week ranged between 72.22 and 73 meticais, while the asking price ranged between 73.59 and 74.38 meticais.
Purchase rates against the US dollar (the basis for the calculation other currencies) averaged 60.78 and sale at 61.94 meticais.
