The Speaker of the Mozambican parliament (Assembly of the Republic) Verónica Macamo, receivedthe Cuban ambassador to Mozambique, Raul Garcia, in her office yesterday afternoon. At the farewell meeting , Garcia said he leaves Mozambique satisfied with the work and cooperation developed between the two countries, especially in the area of Health.
Veronica Macamo, for her part, thanked Cuba for its support and praised the ambassador for the state of cooperation in the areas of Education and Health.
This is the second time that Raúl Garcia represents his country in the Mozambican territory. The first term took place from 1982 to 1987 and the last from 2013 to 2017.
