Running water was restored on Sunday evening in Quelimane, Zambezia province, after drying up on Friday following a massive breach in the main supply pipeline.
Technicians from FIPAG and the municipal council spent three days repairing the damage. Zambézia Governor Abdul Razak visited the incident site yesterday for a briefing on the ongoing repair work and to see the FIPAG infrastructure for himself.
FIPAG’s 15,000 clients now have the precious liquid back in their taps.
