Fisherman dies in Costa do Sol wreck, three more still missing

One fisherman has died and three others were reported missing as the result of a wreck on the Costa do Sol beach in the city of Maputo early on Monday morning (September 4).
The cause of the wreck of the boat, which was carrying six people, is not yet known. Only two persons are known to have survived.
Relatives and friends of the missing trio gathered on the beach in the Bairro dos Pescadores [fishermen’s neighbourhood] hoping for information about the accident and probable location of the missing persons from the maritime authorities and the National Service for Public Safety (SENSAP).
Search teams are meanwhile continuing their work.
