Woman stabs husband in Maputo

A 36-year-old woman called Somada Cossa has apparently tried to murder her husband of three years with a knife.
The victim is still in hospital but is described as out of danger.
The victim’s sister says that the couple have a long history of domestic disputes, while the couple’s godparents have expressed outrage at the behaviour of their godchildren.
The head of the apartment block where the couple live, Obita Aurelius, has described her neighbour’s alleged actions as “a great folly”.
