Frelimo’s Central Committee member Tomás Salomão says that Mozambique must discover ways to re-launch the national economy.
Speaking to journalists at the end of the sixth regular session of the Frelimo Central Committee in Maputo, Salomão said it was up to Mozambicans to determine the future of the country.
“If the partners want to continue working with Mozambique in this [current] context, they are welcome to do so, but if they feel they should not, one thing is certain: the country cannot die, the country cannot suffocate, the country will have to continue to find means, to find those who understand our position, because the country will never suffocate itself,” Salomão said.
