Sofala gears up for 11th Frelimo congress in September

Members of the Frelimo central committee in Sofala province are studying four documents that will guide the party’s 11th party congress, to be held in September.
The documents include a proposed revision of Frelimo party statutes, the proposed Frelimo program for the next five years, a proposal guiding the way congress works and one concerning the report of the central committee.
Similar meetings are taking place in other provinces, with Frelimo central committee due to meet within days to adopt the documents under discussion and make final decisions on congress matters.
