Entering the final phase is the laying of high-strength steel suspension cables that will support the bridge to Maputo Bay.
There are two cables, of great dimensions, constituted by 91 cords each, with a global weight of 4 thousand tons of steel.
The cables constitute the main security of the future bridge.
