Two men were recently arrested by the PRM in Manica after they were caught in possession of human bones. It is believed that the bones are those of a deceased albino.
According to police, the suspects face charges of trafficking in human organs.
The two detainees refused to reveal where and how they got the bones.
According to one of the detainees, an unnamed man came to his house and offered to pay him an unspecified amount of money in exchange for bones of an albino person.
The detainee accepted the offer and contacted his accomplice. The two men subsequently retrieved the bones and travelled to a hotel in Chimoio, there they were scheduled to meet the buyer. However, the two men were intercepted by the police and arrested.
