Millennium bim has signed a memorandum of understanding with the Mozambican Embassy in Portugal with the intention of jointly identifying talented young Mozambicans living in Portugal who want to return to Mozambique and contribute to the development of the country.
The protocol foresees various recruitment channels and the organisation of annual employment workshops in Portugal, where CVs will be received, employment opportunities will be announced and interviews will be held. Millennium Bim will also offer professional internships in the Millennium Group during students’ academic training.
The signing of the memorandum was attended by the Chairman and Vice-Chairman of the Millennium Board of Directors, António Monteiro and Miguel Maya, Executive Committee member José Reino da Costa, Mozambican Ambassador to Portugal, Fernanda Lichale and Consul General of Mozambique in Portugal, Geraldo Saranga.
The protocol springs from Millennium bim’s main priority for 2017: the development of human capital, where one of the main vectors is the attraction of young talents with leadership potential.
Millennium bim says that it is therefore reinforcing its commitment to education and training, and promoting the employment of Mozambican students who are able to contribute actively to the development of Mozambique.
