Mozambique: President names former Justice Minister as Prime Minister

President Filipe Nyusi of Mozambique is on a working visit to Gaza province today.
He will visit the construction site of the future Xai-Xai Airport, in Poiombo, Chongoene district, and the Agrarian House of Inhamissa in Xai-Xai, where he will interact with people affected by the floods caused by the rise of the Limpopo River flow in February and March 2017, and will inaugurate a new Gaza provincial government administrative building, a press release quoted by Folha de Maputo states.
The President is accompanied by the Ministers of Transport and Communications, Carlos Mesquita; Land Environment and Rural Development, Celso Correia; Deputy Ministers of State and Public Administration, Roque Silva Samuel and Combatants, Maria de Fátima Pelembe; Director General of the National Institute of Disaster Management (INGC) and staff of the presidency and other state institutions.
