Mozambique: SERNIC claims to arrest human trafficker - AIM report

Mozambican police have seized four kilograms of cocaine in Mafalala, a suburban neighbourhood of Mozambique’s capital, a spokesman for the city of Maputo announced on Monday.
During last week’s operation, 10 individuals were arrested and 100 grams of ‘crack cocaine, 3.3 grams of cannabis and eight mobile phones seized.
“Two people escaped,” said Orlando Mudumane told a police press conference, quoted by the Mozambican Information Agency [AIM].
Police are taking steps to capture the two fugitives, according to them the owners of the residence where the drugs were seized.
“Efforts to apprehend them are ongoing, in order to bring them to book for the crimes of consumption and sale of drugs,” Mudumane said.
