The Minister of Foreign Affairs of China, Wang Yi, is conducting a working visit to Mozambique on Wednesday and Thursday as part of the strengthening of friendly relations and cooperation between the two countries.
The visit of the Chinese minister will allow the governments of both countries to evaluate the current state of bilateral cooperation and pass in review the political, economic and social conditions prevailing in Mozambique and China.
During his stay in Maputo, Wang Yi will have a courtesy meeting with the President, Filipe Nyusi, and hold talks with his Mozambican counterpart Oldemiro Baloi.
The talks will culminate in the signing of an agreement on the mutual exemption from visa requirements of holders of diplomatic and service passports of both countries.
