Águas de Maputo, which is responsible for supplying water to the cities of Maputo, Matola and Boane, says that it will deploy a technical team to the neighbourhoods of Polana Caniço A and B in the capital to investigate the water shortage problem, company spokesman Afonso Mahumane said on Sunday.
Mahumane said the company not aware of any good reason for lack of water in these neighbourhoods.
“It must be an isolated area, maybe a block or just a few houses. That it is a whole zone we are not aware of, but in any case, we have registered the information. We will send our technical team to monitor the situation and see what is happening,” Mahumane said.
