Man murdered in Maputo Ring Road today only posed as police officer and was never in the corporation, clarifies PRM

Police of the Republic of Mozambique (PRM) revealed that the citizen who was murdered today in the Chiango area of the Maputo ring road by unknown individuals was never in the ranks of the corporation.
The information was released today by PRM’s spokesman at Maputo city level, Paulo Nazaré during a press conference to clarify the case.
According to Nazaré, the citizen better known as Ramiro, by pretending to be a Criminal Investigation Police (PIC) officer certainly had connections with criminal organizations. “Then it could have been this kind of modus operandi that caused his death,” said the PRM spokesman, cited by Folha de Maputo.
“Ramiro was never in the ranks of the PRM. If family members have said that he was an agent of the PIC, this information is not the truth.What is known is that he posed as a police officer and told people that he was a collaborator,” he explained.
The false PIC agent was riding his motorcycle when he was riddled of bullets by individuals using an AKM type firearm.
