Mozambique: Credit to the economy hit one-year-high in September

The President of the Republic, Filipe Nyusi, yesterday appointed Victor Pedro Gomes as Deputy Governor of the Banco de Moçambique. Gomes was Chairman of the Board of Directors [PCA] of Mozambican state port and railway company CFM.
The new Deputy Governor of the Central Bank had already served as administrator of the Central Bank of Mozambique for Markets, Procurement and Patrimony before being appointed Chairman to CFM in January 2014.
Victor Pedro Gomes is an economist and he was also administrator of Banco Comercial de Moçambique, now transformed into Millennium bim.
