Algeria, Mozambique target top spot in Group G - In Mambas We Trust!!

Mozambican swimmer Igor Mogne will compete on Friday in the 50-metre freestyle competition of the swimming championships being held in Canada, swimming in Lane Two in the first series of the race.
The Short Swimming Pool World Championships kicked off Tuesday in Windsor, Ontario, with Mozambique fielding a three-man team which also includes Jannah Sonneinchain, who trains in Portugal and Holland, and Jessica Cossa, who has been working in Russia.
All three athletes belong to the Maputo Golfinhos Swimming Club.
The last time that Mozambique took part in the championships was in 2014 in Doha, the capital of Qatar, with Igor Mogne and Valdo Lourenço of Maputo’s Golfinhos, and Jessica Stagno of the Tubarões Swimming Club in Maputo.
