The younger brother of President Samora Machel, Orlando Moisés Machel, died on Saturday due to prolonged illness at one of the private clinics in the city of Maputo.
Orlando Machel is the last of the four brothers of the first president of the country to pass away.
The deceased leaves a widow and nine children.
The date for the funeral ceremonies has not yet been announced.
