Horse camps are a great way for kids to build some confidence and self esteem in a fun and safe enviroment.
At the El Paso horse camp, in Macaneta, kids will learn more about horses and the care of horses.
Going on outrides and playing games on horseback to improve balance and seat position.
But the horse camp is not only about the horses as participants will be doing some bush walks and learning about the environment.
What to bring
Riding hat (please arrange with El Paso if we need to provide)
Riding boots or closed shoes
Jodpurs or pants suitable to ride with
Riding crop if you have
Sunhat or cap
Sunblock & Mozzy repellent
Tekkies
Old jeans and t-shirts
Tracksuit & Warm jacket
Bath towel and swimming towel
Toiletries
Sleeping bag and pillow
Water bottlle
Snacks & Sweets
Rules and regulations
1.Wake up call will be at 6h30 start at 7h00
2.No cellphones, i-pads, cameras, or electronic devices to be used during the day.
3.No kids allowed to work with horses without shoes
4.No kids to leave premises without supervision
5.Snakes, spiders, scorpions, bats
6.No boys in the girls rooms and no girls in the boys rooms
7.No walking around after bed time
8.No kids behind the bar or in the kitchen.
Cost of camp:
10 000 meticais for 1st child / 8 000 meticais for 2nd child of same family
