Mozambique television-EP, briefly designated by TVM, is a reality for about 5 million of Mozambicans. Still persist, in memory of Mozambicans the first moving images produced in Mozambique. It happened in 1979 during the Maputo international Fair (FACIM). It was an experience that allowed residents of Maputo watch, for the first time, the television programs produced and issued in Mozambique, through a hundred televisions placed in different neighborhoods.
After 14 months, on February 3rd 1981, started a training project and the so called Experimental Television (TVE) spent to broadcast only on Sundays the works produced during the five days of training that were essentially news and reports. At this point the boot TVE had 14 workers.
