In partnership with RAUM, Online Artistic Residences for Contemporary Arts, the Portuguese Cultural Centre in Maputo is promoting, a workshop followed by a feedback session on December 7 and 8.
For RAUM, it is important to mobilize forms of collaborative action in digital contexts outside the traditional formats of dissemination of art.
Project RAUM transforms the understanding of residential space, both fixed and ephemeral, and expands it into the digital world, enabling the experiencing of new forms of intervention and artistic reflection in various disciplines – the digital arts, multimedia, visual, photographic, cinema, architectural, design and music and aural genres.
The platform houses artists’ residences and structures related to artistic creation and programming, with activities in dissemination, education and arts training, including university research projects, publishing projects, museums, visual arts schools and independent projects.
The workshop in Maputo is open to 10 participants, it is free of charge and will be conducted by Sandra Vieira Jürgens. On December 8, theer will be an open debate about the project at 18h with Alda Costa, Sandra Vieira Jürgens and Isabel Machado.
