A two-year-old child has died after falling from the building housing the Millennium BIM agency on Avenida Eduardo Mondlane, in Maputo’s Alto Maé neighbourhood.
The tragedy occurred when a domestic worker went to pick up clothes after bathing the child, which fell from the balcony.
Firefighters went to the site to remove the body.
