The Commander-General of Mozambique’s Police, Jorge Khálau,condemns the activities of armed Renamo soldiers. He says that they are creating a climate of insecurity in the central region of the country.
Jorge Khálau, also condemned the attitude of Afonso Dhlakama during conference calls, whose statements “make it impossible to keep peace and order,” he said.
“These video conference statements are of great concern to us; their aim is to create instability in the country,” said Khálau.
Khálau also pointed out that organized crime was behind the attack in Sofala, last Wednesday, on the secretary-general of Renamo, Manuel Bissopo.
