Fire destroys cars in police station

Four cars were destroyed following a fire which occurred in the early afternoon yesterday, at the 18th Police Station of the Republic of Mozambique, in the neighborhood of Lhanguene in the city of Maputo.
Flames surprised the police officers and employees of the Pedagogical University (next to the police station) around 12pm in the park with dozens of seized scraps and vehicles located within the police establishment.
The fire set off on a 25 seater bus, which was at the center of the park and soon after mobilized the security and caring people to try to control the flames.
