AGOA: Trump administration says it supports 1-year renewal of Africa trade initiative

IMF Deputy Managing Director Bo Li met with Mozambique’s President Daniel Chapo in Washington, DC yesterday, an IMF Africa media note reads.
They warmly discussed Mozambique’s opportunities for growth, as well as the economic challenges facing the country, the note adds.
According to the same source, Chapo and Bo Li also spoke about how the IMF can support Mozambique’s efforts to achieve macroeconomic stability and accelerate job-inclusive growth.
They agreed on the importance of maintaining reform momentum, while Deputy Managing Director Li reiterated the IMF’s continued support for Mozambique and its people, the IMF Africa media note concludes.
