Breaking: Portuguese businessman kidnapped in Maputo, Mozambique

A Portuguese citizen, approximately 60 years old, was kidnapped in the early hours of this morning on Zedequias Manganhela Avenue in downtown Maputo.
The incident occurred at around 6:00 a.m., when the victim, the owner of a car accessories company, was exiting his Range Rover and attempting to enter his establishment.
Five armed individuals approached the businessman and forced him into another vehicle. Witnesses say the attack was swift, leaving the victim no time to react.
Some bystanders attempted to intervene, but the kidnappers brandished firearms, preventing anyone from approaching. After the incident, the group headed in the direction of the Maputo–KaTembe Bridge.
So far, there is no information regarding the whereabouts of the kidnapped citizen, nor has there been any official statement from the police at the scene.
