The Minister of Labour, Gender and Social Action, Ivete Alane, today led the official opening of a workshop on gender equity statistics in Mozambique.
The event aims to provide an overview of the position of women in various segments of society and assess their level of inclusion, according to a press release cited by ‘Notícias Online’.
The workshop will also discuss steps to strengthen the gender monitoring and reporting framework in Mozambique, including an implementation plan.
