Mozambique government plans to reduce deficit from 8% to 2.6% of GDP in three years

National citizens must declare certain financial and property assets they own abroad.
The following assets are subject to declaration; real estate and personal property subject to registration of ownership; amounts and rights whose total amount is equal to or greater than the equivalent of US$250,000.
The declaration must be submitted directly to the Bank of Mozambique, either by physical delivery, by mail, or via email: [email protected].
The first declaration must be made within 30 days of the acquisition, generation, or holding of the asset; annual declarations must be submitted by March 31 of each calendar year.
