The National Roads Administration (ANE) has promised that the asphalting of the Roma-Nambungali road will begin this year.
At 35 kilometres in length, the stretch is part of the Mtwara Development Corridor, which connects Mozambique and Tanzania through the Negomano border post in Mueda district.
