The provinces of Tete, Sofala and Zambezia will be affected from today by an intense heatwave with temperatures reaching 42 degrees Celsius, as a result of a low pressure system.
According to a statement issued by the National Institute of Meteorology (INAM) the risk areas are the districts of Mutarara, Chiúta, Zumbo, Marromeu, Cheringoma, Caia, Morrumbala, Mopeia and Nicoadala.
