A bilateral meeting was held in Luanda between the Minister of Economy of Mozambique, Basílio Muhate, and the Minister of Tourism of Angola, Márcio de Jesus Lopes Daniel, on the sidelines of the 17th US-Africa Business Summit.
The meeting aimed to strengthen cooperation relations between the two ministries.
During the meeting, Minister Basílio Muhate expressed interest in deepening existing ties and formalizing them through a legal instrument of bilateral cooperation.
He also highlighted the potential of air links between Maputo and Luanda, operated by the Angolan Airline, as an opportunity to boost tourism and the exchange of business missions between the two countries.
On the occasion, Minister Muhate also extended an invitation to his Angolan counterpart to participate, accompanied by businesspeople from the sector, in the 60th edition of FACIM and FIKANI 2025, both to be held in Maputo.
