Mozambique: Chapo lights flame of national unity

The First Lady of Mozambique, Gueta Chapo, is on a three-day working visit to Dubai, United Arab Emirates, where she will participate in the seventh edition of the Merck Foundation First Ladies Initiative Summit (MFFLI), starting tomorrow.
This is an international forum that brings together First Ladies, leaders of health organizations, policy makers and technical experts from various parts of the world, with a particular focus on the African and Asian continents, according to a press release.
Under the theme “Together We Make a Difference”, the conference will include plenary and technical sessions focused on key areas such as health capacity building, combating the stigma associated with infertility, promoting girls’ education, preventing child marriage and advancing gender equality.
