President of the Republic Daniel Chapo today presided over the inauguration of the new Grindrod Mozambique headquarters building, an infrastructure built in the context of the expansion of the Port of Matola coal terminal.
A statement from the Presidency of the Republic received by our editorial office indicates that the construction of this new operational centre represents a strategic investment that reinforces Mozambique’s role as a benchmark logistics platform in Southern African, and contributes to the modernization and expansion of the national logistics chain.
The document also states that the participation of the President of the Republic in this act underlines the importance that the government attaches to the development of modern and resilient logistics infrastructures, seen as essential for economic diversification, job creation and regional integration.
