Dubai Chamber of Commerce finalises preparations for trade mission to Angola and Mozambique

Mozambican exhibitors promise to exceed the expectations of visitors to the 35th Malawi International Trade Fair (MITF) which kicks off in Blantyre today, by showcasing our country’s excellence in the production and supply chain of various export products.
The international business meeting, which takes place from this Thursday in the city of Blantyre, was opened this morning by the President of Malawi, Lazarus Chakwera.
Mozambique is present through the provinces of Tete and Zambézia, joining neighbouring countries such as Zambia, Tanzania and Zimbabwe.
Held under the motto, “Promoting Economic Growth through Private Sector-led Industrialization”, the Malawi International Trade Fair will provide an opportunity to establish regional business networks.
Also from the centre of the country, Zambézia province, a delegation led by Governor Pio Matos is set to attract potential investors for regional trade integration.
According to the Tete provincial director of Industry and Commerce, Ofélio Jeremias, the province is bringing 13 exhibitors to this important showcase, with the region’s main potential.
More than 160 exhibitors have confirmed their presence at Malawi’s largest trade showcase – 23 more than last year.
The 35th Malawi International Trade Fair (MITF) is taking place from 22nd–29th May, 2025, at Chichiri Trade Fair Grounds, Blantyre.
