The recently opened bypass to ease traffic between Nampula and the city of Pemba (in Cabo Delgado) was swept away on Sunday morning by the fury of the waters, Notícias reports.
It is worth remembering that the road connection between the provinces of Nampula and Cabo Delgado via the N1 had been reestablished on Tuesday, April 15, only five days earlier.
