Mozambique Elections: US denies funding demonstrations - AIM report

Botswana’s President Duma Gideon Boko has yesterday arrived at Maputo International Airport for a working visit to Mozambique and is today holding a meeting with President Daniel Capo in Nacala city, Nampula province.
“The Tswana President’s visit to Mozambique aims to strengthen and deepen the historic ties of brotherhood, friendship, solidarity and political, economic, social and cultural cooperation, to exchange views on the internal situation between the two countries, in Southern Africa, on the African continent and in the world in general, to deepen mutual and interpersonal knowledge between the two Heads of State and to review the current stage of bilateral cooperation”, states a note from the Presidency of the Republic of Mozambique.
The two leaders will also visit the Port of Nacala and the Humanitarian and Emergency Operations Centre (COHE),” adds the same source.
A communique by the Presidency of Botswana has announces that Duma Boko and Daniel Chapo “will hold talks on bilateral, regional and multilateral issues of common interest”.
President Duma Boko0s visit to te country ends on Saturday (29 March).
