The carrier Linhas Aéreas de Moçambique (LAM) announced yesterday the resumption of flights to the North region, on the Maputo/Pemba/Maputo route, with an extension to Dar-Es-Salam, in Tanzania, taking into account the improvement in the weather, which had led to the cancellation of the connection on this route.
In a statement, the company said it also carried out flights on the Maputo/Nampula/Lichinga and return routes, as well as Maputo/Nacala/Maputo.
The document also explains that all operations to the Central region remain cancelled, due to heavy rains in the cities of Tete, Quelimane, Chimoio and Beira.
