Mozambique: Katembe transporters halt activities

Drivers of semi-public passenger transport parked their cars and blocked the passage of other vehicles, which were traveling from Katembe to Maputo. The protesters say they are demanding the circulation of “pirate semi-public passenger transport”.
The Katembe district woke up differently this Monday, the transporters stopped their activities and prevented the passage of other vehicles. The claim is due to the influx of carriers from other routes.
