Mozambique: Citizen kidnapped in Chókwè

A citizen of Asian origin, who carries out commercial activities in the city of Chókwè, Gaza province, was kidnapped on Monday night (03), when he was leaving his establishment.
According to what Carlos Macuácua, head of Public Relations at the provincial command of the Police of the Republic of Mozambique (PRM) in Gaza, confirmed to the press, in order to achieve their intentions, four kidnappers fired gunshots to intimidate the victim and some passers-by, before forcing him to get into the vehicle that the kidnappers used to escape from the crime scene.
Macuácua assured that the Police were at the scene, minutes after the act and immediately activated their operational lines, aiming to neutralize those involved.
It is the first case of its kind this year in Gaza province, he highlighted.
