Mozambique: "M’Saho" - A musical journey between tradition and innovation

Organized by Mozambican production company República do Pandza (RDP), the Matola Festival promises to be a milestone in the festivities celebrating the municipality’s 53rd anniversary.
Based on the fundamental values of solidarity, unity and love, the MTL (Matola Festival) aims to transform music and other forms of art into vehicles for restoring harmony and social cohesion, while promoting dialogue, tolerance and respect for differences.
On stage will be some of the most prominent names in Mozambican music, including Mr Bow, Ziqo, Mr Kuka, Matilde Conjo, Liloca, Calisto Ferreira, Marlene, Classic Nova, Melony, Tamyris Moiane, Leyton David, H20, Zav, Lourena Nhate, Fokiss Jr, Killua, Denilson Manhique and others, promising to enchant the public with memorable performances.
In addition, the event’s program will include a gastronomy and crafts fair, as well as an initiative to donate items and products to those most in need.
With the MTL, Matola reaffirms its vision of making culture not only as an integral part of its identity, but also a vital mechanism for the exercise of citizenship, development and good governance.
