Mozambique: Around 600 million meticais needed to replace economic infrastructure destroyed by Cyclone Chido in Cabo Delgado

The province of Cabo Delgado needs around 600 million meticais to replace economic infrastructure destroyed by Cyclone Chido. The announcement was made by Nelson Joaquim, head of the Industry Department at the Provincial Directorate of Industry and Commerce in that province.
According to Nelson Joaquim, the government is currently working hard with partners to mobilize resources to recover the economic fabric devastated by Cyclone Chido.
Joaquim highlighted that, in the province of Cabo Delgado, Cyclone Chido had a greater impact on mainly private sector infrastructure.
