Beluluane, Mozambique – As part of its national expansion plans across Mozambique, MozParks hosted yesterday the Governor of Nampula, Eduardo Abdula, for his first official visit to Mozal – Beluluane Industrial Park (BIP) since assuming office in January 2025. The visit also highlighted MozParks’ growing footprint in Nampula, where it operates Kenmare – Topuito Industrial Park. Built around Kenmare Resources, one of the world’s largest mineral sands producers, the park spans 215 hectares of ready-developed industrial land with on-site accommodation, generating jobs for 2,500 people and income for 25,000 Mozambicans.
During the visit, Onorio Manuel, General Director of MozParks, highlighted the role of industrial parks in advancing Mozambique’s industrial landscape, attracting investments, and creating jobs for thousands of Mozambicans. Mozal – Beluluane Industrial Park currently supports 10,000 jobs and generates income for over 100,000 people, serving as a model for sustainable industrialization in Mozambique. With a government mandate to develop 20 industrial parks across the country, MozParks is dedicated to replicating this success to drive employment and economic opportunities nationwide.
The Park provides diverse business opportunities, including manufacturing, logistics, food processing, and IT services, making it an attractive destination for investors. Companies in the park benefit from developed infrastructure, tax incentives, security, access to skilled labor, and strong integration into supply chains, ensuring long-term stability and growth.
Governor Abdula also engaged with the leadership of Duys Moçambique and Beleza Moçambique, observing firsthand how these companies drive employment and strengthen the local economy. Additionally, he attended a presentation on MozParks’ supplier-park model, which strategically clusters industries around large projects to support efficiency and economic integration.
“MozParks is dedicated to expanding its network of sustainable economic zones, ensuring more Mozambicans have access to stable jobs and economic opportunities,” said Onorio Manuel. “The success of Mozal – Beluluane Industrial Park demonstrates how industrialization can transform communities, and we are eager to expand this model to other provinces, ensuring that every new park serves as a catalyst for economic growth and job creation.”
