Executive Coordinator of the Office for Reforms and Strategic Projects Osvaldo João Machatine argues that reforms that accompany social dynamics need to be implemented in order to achieve the country’s economic independence. Machatine also says that he intends to make Mozambique a welcoming place for investment.
Speaking after his inauguration as the new coordinator of the Office of Reforms and Structural Projects, Machatine highlighted that Mozambique is rich in natural resources and has a young population.
“We have a great opportunity to combine natural and mineral resources with human strength to transform our country, so that we can move from the current situation we find ourselves in to a situation of greater dignity for our population, particularly the young,” Machatine said.
The newly appointed official also underlines that he intends to make Mozambique a welcoming place for investment, in order to further bolster the country’s economic independence.
