Major General Cristóvão Artur Chume is he Minister of National Defence of Mozambique since November 2021.
He had previously served as the Commander of the Army Branch of the Mozambique Defence Armed Forces from March to November 2021.
Cristóvão Cume was born in Maputo on May 1, 1971.
