Mozambique: Thirteen kidnapping victims rescued last year – Notícias

Five kidnapping holding locations were deactivated and 13 victims were returned to their families during the past year, Minister of the Interior Pascoal Ronda announced yesterday on the occasion of the 8th anniversary of the National Criminal Investigation Service (SERNIC).
According to Ronda, in this process, 62 individuals were arrested and seven firearms, along with ammunition of various calibres, vehicles and mobile phones were seized.
Regarding drug trafficking, Pascoal Ronda highlighted the dismantling of four illicit drug factories and the seizure of cannabis sativa, cocaine, heroin and methamphetamine.
